I am Suzanne,
a registered psychotherapist. I work mainly with women in midlife and beyond, along with individuals and couples. Many of the people I see live with ongoing self doubt or self criticism. Some are carrying emotional patterns passed down through their family. Others feel an inner conflict that insight alone has never quite resolved.
Lasting change rarely comes from trying harder. It begins when we understand ourselves differently.
How I Work
My approach draws on Internal Family Systems therapy, body based awareness, and more than thirty years of contemplative practice.
We slow down and get curious about what is happening underneath a reaction. That curiosity is often what lets old patterns soften. A steadier part of you can then come forward, one that meets life’s challenges with more clarity and calm.
I believe difficult reactions are rarely personal failures. They are usually protective responses that formed a long time ago for good reason. My work is helping you understand those protective parts and build a warmer, calmer relationship with them.
Again and again, I have watched a reaction change the moment someone finally understands it.
A Little More About Me
Outside of sessions, you will usually find me near the ocean, tending a garden, or making art.
These are not simple hobbies to me. They keep me connected to rhythm, patience, and presence. They remind me that real change rarely happens through force. It grows through attention and good timing.
That same sense of timing shapes how I work with everyone I see.

Alongside my postgraduate psychotherapy training, I bring more than 30 years working directly with the body, through massage therapy, Chinese medicine, and acupressure, along with specialist training in Internal Family Systems. Together, these have shaped the way I help people find more clarity, steadiness, and self trust.
