You know how you want to respond. So why do you keep doing the opposite?

The Steady Self Workshop

A free guided experience to understand what’s really going on underneath one reaction you keep repeating.

Tuesday Sept 8th, 7-8pm AEST

Perhaps this feels familiar...

Perhaps you’ve snapped at someone you love and felt sick about it five minutes later.

Perhaps you’ve said yes to something when every part of you wanted to say no.

Perhaps you’ve lain awake replaying a conversation from hours ago, wondering why you couldn’t just let it go.

You already know what you wish you’d done instead.

You’ve read about it, thought about it.

And you’ve promised yourself you’d handle it differently next time.

And yet the same thing keeps happening.

Again, and again, and again.

So why does it keep happening?

Because there’s something happening underneath the reaction that no one has ever helped you see.

It’s like a tug of war inside you.

Different parts of you are pulling in different directions, each trying to protect you in their own way.

That’s why trying harder hasn’t worked, no matter how much effort you’ve put in.

Why join The Steady Self Workshop...

We’ll spend the hour exploring one recurring situation that keeps showing up in your life.

The one where you react in a way you don’t love, then spend hours—or even days—beating yourself up and wondering why you just. keep. doing. it.

Together we’ll map out what’s happening underneath that reaction.

You’ll begin recognising the different parts of yourself involved, what each one is trying to do for you, and why understanding them changes everything.

Perhaps one part wants to speak honestly while another wants to keep the peace.

Perhaps one part longs to rest while another refuses to slow down.

Perhaps one part knows exactly what you need, while another is frightened of what might happen if you listened.

Once you can see the tug of war, it becomes much easier to understand why you’ve felt so stuck inside it—and how you can begin responding to yourself with more calm, clarity and self-compassion.

What that might look like...

One part wants to say “No, I can’t do that this week,” while another says yes because you don’t want to let anyone down.

One part knows you’re exhausted, while another keeps telling you to push through just a little longer.

One part wants to tell your partner how hurt you feel, while another stays quiet to avoid an argument.

One part knows you need support, while another tells you everyone else is coping, so you should too.

Once you begin to recognise these different parts, the struggle starts to make sense.

The beginning of a new path...

Most women don’t leave this workshop with all the answers.

They leave with something just as valuable—

a different way of seeing themselves.

Instead of asking, “What’s wrong with me?”

they begin asking, “What was happening inside me?”

The self-blame begins to soften.

The pattern starts to make sense.

Women often tell me this is where the relief begins.

Knowing there’s a real reason behind the pattern.

Knowing they’re not the only one carrying it.

Knowing there is another way forward.

Ready for that to be you?

Join me for this free live online workshop and begin understanding yourself in a way that changes how you respond—not just to your reactions, but to yourself.

About Suzanne

I’m a Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a special interest in helping women understand the patterns they keep finding themselves stuck in.

I use Internal Family Systems, a compassionate approach that helps people make sense of their reactions instead of blaming themselves for them.

Nothing is more rewarding than seeing someone realise their reactions aren’t a personal flaw—they make sense once they understand what’s happening inside.
